weed or not?

Hi All,
tidying up a garden for an old lady and found a several plants which I presumed she had put in. She later said she though they were self planting weeds, I left them in as they were quite a good "filler" and definately nothing to do with the fact that they looked like a canabis plant! Can some kind sole identify it for me (preferably as some exotic plant!)

It's not cannabis. My middle class neighbours all grow that and sell it to my working class neighbours. I think i like it don't know what it is (somebody will) but please send me some.

I think you have cracked it diatheplant, I was feeling rather a chump for splitting and replanting a possible weed, I will await the flowers and have the last laugh

I think it hellebore as well.
The kind that grows from wild bird food, a weed of kinds.
