as some of you may know i have some vulnerable neighbours- they are wonderful people - father and daughter

    they now use this company

    http://www.wiltshirefarmfoods.com/?gclid=CJL_gqHf1qMCFR0B4wodkDZJuA

they were left a leaflet by a social worker and the father showed it to me

i persuaded him to try the starter pack and they have used them ever since cos the foods excellent quality

the.y do special diets - daughter needs a low calorie and dad needs small portions and soft food all their staff are crb checked and they not only deliver they put the food away in the freezer

i think this is so much better than meals on wheels (they had them for two days last week because of the fire) and were not impressed

do you have this local to you?

Hi Loopy, yes I have experience of them from my elderly neighbour that I care for.. They have replaced the meals on wheels in this area with them quite a few years ago.. Yes good well balanced meals for those unable to prepare them for themselves.. :gnthb:

Mum and Dad tried them but in the end we found buying ready meals from Tes** or As** was cheaper, just as easy and there was more choice. Asda has become the choice and they too will put food away on request. 2 hour delivery slots etc. and they find the food is tastier PLUS most of their other needs can be delivered at the same tiem

The only difference being that it has to be done online which I appreciate is not possible for everyone though it only takes me about 10 mins for my parents each week
