I am still "finding my feet" in this forum and just got to the photo competitions section!
I might just have one or two photos that I might post as I have just come back from the Lake District where the blossom trees were in full bloom as well as azaleas, acers and rhododendrons.
    Very pretty!

    Go for it.
I'm still finding my feet and I have been on here for ages:D

I'm hopeless at the teci side of everything.
Get the photos the wrong size , in the wrong places .

Always having to ask for help.
But I am getting there, slowly :)
I can take the photos .
    Enhance them.
But to put them on here.:D

:thumb: Quite agree jarbax, there certainly are some stunning shots & it really will be a hard time deciding on three, I agree..!!!:D

:thumb: I would also like to Welcome new people to the competition too. It is always nice to see new faces & new photography..:) Could I ask you to take 5 minutes to read the guidelines at the beginning of the competition thread & familiarize yourselves with it all. The point about the EXIF data is very important as well..;)

So Good Luck to you all....!!:thumb::)

    Thanks

    Marley :)

Some (or at least one)of my recent competition submissions seem to be missing EXIF data Marley - but others don't! EXIF exist on the original pics but seems to get lost during a processing procedure - can't yet figure out which one. If anyone raises questions about dates/times I'll happily email you an un-resized original which will include all the EXIF data.

I'm working with a new camera and some new software too.

:thumb: Hi Spring, glad Slinky pointed you in the right direction...:)

:) Dave, long time no speak, you have been busy with the new camera..! :) Regarding the EXIF data, I know that sometimes it gets lost during resizing etc & that cannot be helped... I think a few of us lose it when resizing/editing, I know mine disappears & it is due to the software... :)
;) What I was trying to point out was, the fact that if it is there, then it tells us when the photo was taken.. i.e.whether it was taken in the current month etc as required in our guidelines etc...:)

:thumb: So I was just reminding people, to avoid disappointments later, to make sure they took the photo in the current month as we have some newer members entering now.. So if you are new to the comps please read the guidelines before you post:thumb:

    Thanks

    Marley. :thumb::)
