this next picture is just before sun rise the column of light on the cloud is known as a sun pillar this is caused by the sun below the horizon reflecting on the cloud it can also happen at sunset.



finally the sun is now risen

 

who needs wallpaper, when you can knick a few pickys off GW . some fine captures ther guys and girls, stunning work

Glen - the reflections in that still water of the clouds in the sky almost look like the photo has been tinkered with - they are so beautiful.
