new skin

hi all , well is not been long but what do you think of the new skin and all of nathan and duncans hard work

 

I really like it - prefer it to the old. I frequent another forum which uses this skin - so am fairly well aquainted, but definitely think it is better than the old.

Favorite feature the 'new posts' and 'todays posts' facilities. Everything seems faster too. Only thing I would change is the font size- I need it bigger!!! Ooo - more smilies too!

Thankyou for all the hard work - it's worth it!

Where is the 'todays post' feature?:confused:

 

Right At the top of this page fmay, on the green line.

 

I find it by clicking on the 'Quick Links' option (on the green line under the 'welcome' and 'private message' box) - it is the first link on the list.

The 'subscribed threads' feature is great too (accessed under 'Quick Links' - or on the forum section /new post lists, shown as a tick) - you can easily find the threads you have contributed to.

And the 'go to last post' arrow saves scrolling through an entire thread/page to get to the end of a thread. It is shown as a wee arrow in the 'last post' column, beside the time of last posting and name of the user who posted last. (think I could have made that clearer!)

I'm another thumbs up Duncan and Nathan. Thought it looked OK at first but let's work with it for a while Once I found things it's great. The only thing I miss is the 'liar' smiley. Because I have been known to be economical with the truth and it made it easy to show that I was really only joking.
