carrots

    Is it best to plant these at least two feet high in some sort of containers my original name was golfer however i for got my password tried to obtain my password from forum admiistrator but failed hence i registred again under new name ie jet plane so trying this subject to make sure i am back in the forum.

    Hi Jet Yes I make mine at least 30 inches high ,The carrot Fly He doesent like Flying over 30 inches

    You could always try one of the carrot fly resistant varieties. I'm trying Maestro from Suttons and Resistafly from Mr Fothergills this year. Both make great calims for their resistance to the dreaded fly and claim good flavour.

    Let us know how you get on with resistence and yields as i fancy trying maestro too
