lost

it seems there`s no one here anymore and i don`tknow what im doing , it took me long enough before to get used to everything . Can`t seem to edit my page to get my avator back , used to know people by their avators , now i`m lost . Suppose i`ll get used to it in time (something i don`t have a lot of ) Will try again when i can

 

Hi DQ,I am feeling the same as I expect a lpot of people are.Even my smilies have vanished and when I pressed go advanced the one I put up on the wakey thread went in the wrong place {frown} I am like you I don't have hours to sit and play around with it and I am not going to even attempt to try Avatars or photos.{eek}

Your signature comes out with lots of words and numbers at the side of your signature so it looks all messy.

I know how you feel, when I first saw the new version I thought I would never get my avatar and signature set up as I am in no way a computer genius :eek:

After a bit of mooching around and pressing this and that I eventually got it set up:D

You will get there eventually, if you go into the How to...... area I`m sure you will find a great many other G.C members in the same boat and all your questions should be answered there.

Same here, I lost my avatar and I couldn't find it on my pooter since eldest changed us to Vista. Anyway I have a new one now (after a little while).

 

Hi all, yes i know how you feel. Let's hope we all get there in the end. I'm not 'up to speed' on this new stuff yet. Hopefully with all the help we get from other users we will get there.

I was disspondant to start with,dont like change at my age.
I never could do quoting someone else before but it's easy now.
Couldn't do avatars,couldn't do pictures,couldn't do smilies,......now I can do coloured text as well.
Hated it to start with but am warming to it now.
So stick with it.....there are lots of positives..

 

Hi folks.Third attempt at this today having not been here for a while.Me being a bit of a no brainer i sent an e mail (i think)to our kind administrators who have obviously put time and effort into improving our beloved GC,complaining.You`d think i`d just come down from the mountain.Sorry about that.
I was just a bit shocked and panicked, cause i thought now i`m gonna have to learn evrything all over again.Comfort zone out the window and all that.
Having somehow fallen into this thread i find i`m not alone and it`s made me feel better.so i will perservere cause i`m not goona let the small writing and no pictures stop me catching up with everyone.Like you say roders, the times they are a changing....
