Walnut love the bit about getting your druid robes caught in the spokes of your wheels:D:D

Well we have had a wet old day with it only leaving off some time this afternoon.Mr Kandy enjoyed the Motor Racing Qualifier while the rain fell and then once that had finished we popped out for half an hour.At least I havn't had to do any watering today, though all the plants have drooped with the weight of the rain drops on them:rolleyes::D

Apart from a little drizzle first thing its been dry all day.
Not exactly summer, but bright for the most part and not cold, it reached 21C at best.

Blowy here too, and wet. Just as well, as am backng up my pictures today - a lengthy process, and I would've been gutted if it was nice outside and I was stuck in here!

Hope the wind doesn't do anyone any damage (though sounds like Hel's cabbage may already ave done so!!! lol)

the forecast are not promising - this is from yahoo news, around one hour ago....brrrr:

People in parts of Britain have been warned to expect gales of up to 65mph.

Forecasters said the UK should brace itself for "unusual summer weather" with high-wind storms and heavy rains.

It is thought the weather would be at its worst in north-west England, Wales and the lower parts of Scotland.

Strong gusts are also expected as far south as the Bristol channel, Wales, the Midlands and parts of East Anglia.

Southern Scotland has so far seen the worst of the heavy rain, with 38mm falling in Dundrennan, on the south-western coast of Scotland.

A Met Office spokesman said the "severe gusts" could cause problems for motorists towing caravans and high-sided vehicles.
