Morning all, ooohhhh lucky you Pal, sounds great. Dry but overcast at the mo. Mr 02's done his back in moving boxes about, as we are having our bathroom and kitchen done, so we are upsidedown here, dont think we will be going anywhere for a while. Hope you all have a lovely day. 02

Grey murky skies and rain again this morning. I was only having a bit of fun Shiney, having seen a good few of the photos of your horticultural triumphs, the thought that you might also have your very own micro climate free of the torrential rain and howling winds that we've been having here was a bit too much. Hope you had a pleasant walk and an agreeable lunch, cheers T.D.

    Morning all,

Looks like it will be the same as yesterday, I felt a cold wind yesterday for the first time this summer and there are a lot of leaves blown on the garden today.

Autumn is coming, I love this time when the coming season gives you a little advance notice. Cardi on for todays work I think.

Sad one for me the cherry is coming down today.

Had a good walk and lunch, got all the pots filled (will take some photos when I've cleaned the labels off the pots :D) and then it started pelting :thumb:. It came down very heavily for about 45 minutes. We could do with a lot more rain but it is a start :).

Didn't get far going south of warrington this morning stopped by police and all the emergency services no way would they let me through as there had been an "incident" they directed me on another route then stopped again the fire brigade had this road blocked off and were fishing something out of the river, decided to back track and went north of warrington scenery not as forthcoming in that direction, there's going to be chaos this morning in the rush hour if those roads are still shut, probably someone has decided to get murdered there is a lot of that here.

Morning Walnut sorry to hear about your ride being scuppered. The poor sole possibly decided they had had enough of this world so decided to end it all or else as you say they have been done in.Either way not very nice for those they leave behind.

Lovely morning here at the moment but not sure how long it is going to last.Had quiet a bit of rain yesterday but at least the garden got waterd and the water butt filled up:thumb:

Good morning Walnut, Kandy and all,

At least we have now had some rain but we are back to normal with a beautiful sunny, mild day :). The birds are very happy as I have just filled up their feeders.

Had a nice bit of rain yesterday and the garden looks better for it.
Today looks promising, at least it did when I drove in to work.

Now I shall pretend to be a mushroom till 3 pm when I finish work :):) and hoep that the weather holds so when i get home I can do a quick bit of tidying up in the garden when I get home.

    Morning all!

We had a fair bit of rain yesterday - at last.
This morning is nice and fresh, sunny with just a few wisps of cloud
and a light breeze. Perfect summer morning :)
