    Morning all.
    It's a bit cloudier today.
But I wish it would rain.
Someone as just dropped a load of paint in the road outside my house.
It never rains when you want it to.
It's making a right mess with the cars driving over it.
But then if it did rain it might make it worse. :dh:

    Beautiful garden shiney, lovely colours.

That's not a pretty sight in front of your house, Lyn .... how annoying!

To make you guys feel good .... it rained all night here and plans are that it will continue all weekend into the first of the week although it's not raining at the moment.

We're loving it except for the fact my Sis and b-in-l arrive 11ish and I'm preparing a fulll Chinese lunch but it means eating in the outdoor living room rather than outside. Also tomorrow's lunch with local friends will be an indoor affair I suppose. :(

Lyn phone the Council asap and they'll send a mechanical road sweeper. We had the same prob here and with a few chemicals they worked wonders..(for once)

The weather here is smashing, unfortunatly I'm stuck here trying to find Insurance for the house but noone wants to know!!!

Well just like most ... it's cracking the flags! Inside the house is cold (paraffin heater is ON) .. but outside ... WOW!!
So nice we're off to la Roche Jagu (the local chateau) 10 mins away with the dogs for a walk around their beautiful gardens. Just checked the local paper and there's a chap making willow baskets there today.
It looks like tomorrow is set for good weather too, fingers crossed!
    Have a nice day all!

Nice and warm here, a great day for wintering down before the wet weather arrives and it all turns to mush. :thumb:

Wonderful sunny day. 72c outside back door at the moment.
We almost got the garden chairs out of the shed again but that would
surely put the kybosh on this lovely day so I came indoors to my computer.

Edit: Just realised I inadvertently put 72c instead of 72F :D
As that would have been approx 162F I think we would have been a bit sunburnt:dh:

For the first time in ages it hasn't rained today (yet!), and even let us dry the bedding from our holiday cottage outdoors! It's been miserable for ages with heavy rain and winds, and most of the fields round us are at least partially under water - you normally can't quite see the river from our house, but just now it seems we are on the banks of a fair-sized Loch. It's gone down a bit today, but more rain forecast for next week. Our garden has escaped reasonably well, with just one soggy patch in the bottom corner.
