Congratulations Mrs. Shiney. I love your painting and the vase.
It's good to see you're doing it for the girls and it's not just the guys who walk away with the prizes for the best veg. Different to our show where the split is evident - veggies for the guys and flowers and crafts for the gals. Perhaps we're just a bit backward in East Anglia:) We do have a young gardeners section at the show which is very well supported. A cheering thought for the future.

We also had our show this weekend but I didn't enter anything. I was one of the visitors impressed with the standard of the exhibits. Perhaps next year........

Congrats and well done, Mrs Shiney! :gnthb: :gnthb: :gnthb:

I also just love your painting and vase, they are gorgeous.

I wonder that you find the time to do such, what with all of your other things and keeping shiney under control. :hehe:

Are you in painting and pottery courses or do you just do them at home as a hobby? I took a pottery course many years ago and also helped out at a small private pottery makers place for a while, but unfortunately I never did anything as lovely and fine as your vase.

Thanks for sharing with us. xx
