Ideas for Balcony Trays

Hi All

We have some containers in the base of our juliet balcony, we had some herbs in over the summer, wondered if you have any ideas for winter?

We quite fancy some bushy shrubs, maybe lavander? How would that fair in containers over the winter?

The containers measure 60 cm long x 15 cm wide x 10 cm deep.

Your suggestions are appreciated!

Lavender won't be in flower through the winter, it's usually finished by September,
how about trying some Heathers in your troughs, they will give you some colour
through the cold dark months and they come in a variety of colours. I'm sure
some of the other members will come up with suggestions
