If you look at the time/output equation photography wins, though photos of a painting fall in between the two.
You've a very big tourist market on your doorstep just gagging for quality pics of the Algarve to take or send home.

'What I'd like to see is some really constructive critical comment about photos, but it's quite a sensitive area as everyone on GC is so nice, and being critical (even in a positive sense) doesn't really fit the ethos of the site. However if anyone wants to make constructive suggestions regarding how I might improve MY photos, I'll be more than pleased to consider and discuss them. And if anyone wants my critical comments I'll be pleased to give them on the understanding tha I'm no expert and can only say what I like or don't like or how I think an image might be improved'

Couldnt agree with you more Dave - I would be very pleased to have peeps views on my efforts [IMG] Ive learned so much since putting pics up on here - the challenge keeps the imagination going! And I also agree with Dave about your photos lol [IMG]

    Morning Dave and marge. [IMG]

I'll keep in mind what you say, Dave. When I said "printer" I obviously meant a person and not a machine.

Thank you, too, marge, for your comments (and for the card which arrived safetly). [IMG]

I also agree with you regarding constructive critical comment. I am new to all of this and would gladly accept positive or negative comments. I am very frustrated at the moment taking closeups and using all the new lenses I have for the camera.

I would also like to be able to better enhance my photography as I am so limited with iPhoto Plus 4 ... but then I'd need an upgrade from ME, I guess. [IMG] Living with a computer specialist does not always have its advantages.

[IMG] Morning Dave Marge & LoL. I too would welcome any constructive criticism. I just fiddle around with my software until I like what I am seeing. Not necessarily the best way always. I too have to admit to not really wanting to criticise anybodies work either. :D I do feel though that there are quite a few pics that would make superb cards very often, Dave is right there..
