Well done to Everyone that took part in last months 'Enhanced' comp

Roders and Marge (as joint winners) have chosen for this months theme "Natures Art" .. So get your thinking caps on [IMG]

A competition for enhanced photographic images.

For Photos taken within the given month, enhance/improved with the use of post picture processing software.

Reasons you may wish to enhance a photo could be to compensate for mistakes made when taking the photo, or indeed to change its atmosphere completely. For example reverting to black and white or maxing out the contrast for a really vibrant sunset.

To ensure we have common starting place for competing, a few ground rules have been established. These will ensure a common standard of submission and ensure photographs are comparable for voting at the end of the month

    Please follow the guidelines below:-

1.All entries to be submitted by 23.59Hrs on the last day of the month of the competition.
    2. You can enter up to three (3) pictures.
    3. Give your picture a title
    4. Post your pics within this thread for entry into the competition. Pics posted in other threads will not be considered
5.Pics have to be taken within the current competition month

6.You CAN use software for enhancement or manipulation of a single original image . This may include submission of an image comprising multiple layers of the original image.
Any image deemed to be more than one single image of multi layers, will be deleted.. Mods decision is final.

    7. The winner will be decided by votes by the users of the forum.

    8. The winner of the competition gets to choose the theme for the next month's competition. This theme is to be kept a separate & different theme from the" Current Monthly Photo Comp" theme.

Please post discussion for this months pictures and about the competition HERE

The very best of luck to you all this month !!

    Nathan.

    Users Vote Guidelines below:-

    1. Competitors cannot vote for any of their own photographs.

    2. Competitors vote on a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place basis with 1st place carrying 5 points 2nd place 3 points and 3rd place 1 point - The photograph with the most vote points wins etc 3. Competitors votes should not be cast until after the competition closes and be in before 11.59pm three days after the competition closes.

All members of the forum get a vote, not just those who've submitted pictures. [IMG]

Woo - That worked really well - a very clever treatment that draws the eye into the picture.

LoL - Cor! The colour change has made the 'ordinary' 'extraordinary'

Nice to see some more pics posted. I supect there's more 'cooking' on members PCs and I bet Marge will produce yet another stunner any day now [IMG]

Original (rocks off Lizard point) shot slightly out of focus with a mirror lens to get the small circles, then unsharp masked and colour saturation adjusted.
