There's an evaluation of bokashi bins on:
    www.greengardener.co.uk.
Have to say it's a bit over-enthusiastic, so it looks more like an advert, but I didn't read it all. Can't get 'em here!

They appear to cost £60 a set, then you buy an accelerant, I think. Seems a bit expensive compared to a wormery where if the worms get friendly and reproduce, there are no costs beyond the start-up....

Just seen this- My daughter and I have been using the bokashi method successfully for several years now. It was expensive to start out, but does work well. The prices in your link are great, Thanks a lot! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
I found this link the other day looking for cheap compost bins for a friend, but missed the bokashi bit!

I have to report that the recycle now delivery times are shocking. I'm STILL waiting for my bokashi bin, and the compost bin. Both were ordered at the beginning of April. The friendly, but ultimately disempowered, people at Recycle Now apologised, but there's nothing they can do to speed up the delivery. They tell me that the fault lies with DHL. I have no way of knowing the veracity of that assertion. They also seem to think that it is still standard practice to offer 28 day delivery, and I was at pains to point out that they are most definitely in the minority. I buy a lot of stuff online these days and so far they are the only company I've used to take so long to deliver an order.

    I'm very disappointed :(

Whilst I agree with you that these days it is an extrodinary length of time to wait and am still waiting for mine too...they do point out the length of time you will wait when you order and as I got my bokashi bins (2 bins plus 2 bags of bran) for £23 through them rather than around £60 from an ordinary online shop I am prepared to wait.
