? re compost

    Sorry, I pressed the wrong button.
    I was wondering if you can put onion peels in the compost bin or is it too acidic. I know you can't put citrus fruit peel in.

    Can anyone enlighten me please and if there are any other don'ts I would be pleased t know them too.

    As long as its mixed with other things all plant origin, waste from the kitchen will compost along with garden green prunings, grass ec- onion peels shouldn't be a problem. I would add citric fruit peel, as long as its in small quantities, again shouldn't be a problem
