Well ours is well and truly dismantled with only a couple of things left unsold. Plenty of money in his pot to fund his new vision!! Will post pictures as the scene builds!!

been to york today, model railway show over 3 floor, nice displays but mostly oo. And very little trade stalls so a little disappointing. Still, nice to spend the day with the family outside the confines of the home!

    Hi BG,

Here's a picture of a small stretch of the railway I help to maintain.

Which part of the country are you in ?

Hi, BG, I model in N which means one is part way mad but to make things worse I choose to base my model on the Southern Railway in the 1930s.
Only one ready to run loco is currently made for this area and time so nearly everything has to be kit built or modified or built from scratch which most of mine is.
see here for some of the locos
On the same site are pics of some model rail shows and some preserved steam lines, click on INDEX to get to home page.
I have 2 layouts under construction, but, due to SWMBO wanting the room decorating, both are buried under all sorts of bits and pieces.

    Cheers MIKE

No, just on Fotopic.net, free hosting, not much in the way of ads except some static Google ones on the home page. Not so easy if you want to hot link to forums but can be done.
I just use it for showing pics, I use Gigafiles.co.uk for posts to GC etc.
