Thank you Sis, Woo, Kandy, JarBax, Gogs, YDD, Sarra, Marley, Whiley, Mira and Strongy.

Sis, yes, we enjoyed our day in Holland and ate some super fried fish - almost as good as the English fish.

Sarra, pickled fish, shudders! it looks positively disgusting, quite mummified actually, Hubby likes things like that, lots of Germans do. Today he ate some of the wonderful fried fish but then he also ate a Matjes - shudders again! It is a raw herring marinated in salt water and skinned, gutted, beheaded and boned, then chopped onions are put on top, you pick it up by the tail - and eat it like that!!! Bet you are all feeling ill by now!

JarBax, I don't know how to attach aparkley ballons, cakes or anything either. So that makes two of us.

I got some nice pics of the beautiful black Fresian horses that I'll put up later on or tomorrow. Also a couple of pics for the one comp.

Sorry about the last photo turning out so small. I have it in webshots instead of PB. Does anyone know if I can enlarge it?

    Thanks Kedi, love the Physalis.
Had a lunchtime meal (Oriental buffet- Chinese/Nepalese/Indian).
We are going to Bruges next month, ever been there? We haven't. In-house Advisor has always wanted to go on

roders - excuse my extremely bad manners by not thanking you for your good wishes. [IMG]

Shall I put it down to old age or bad eyesight?

strongy - Oriental buffet, we love that kind of food, especially Chinese.

Been through Bruges often but never stopped to sightsee really. Hope you both enjoy your trip.

I may have to correct Sis here, strongy ... I'm sure we went to Bruges in 1962 on a school trip when we did a Holland/Belgium thing ... but that WAS a LONG, LONG time ago and we were VERY, VERY, VERY YOUNG (me being even younger) ... certainly not old enough, big enough to go sightseeing ... cough, cough!
