    For those of you who are visiting Cornwall this year...
    Aveedunun? - Have you taken the necessary steps to complete your course of action?
    Aveegotun/Gotunavee? - Have you found what you are seeking?
    Aveeseenen? - Have you seen that for which you search?
    Betturgogitten - I had better depart and fetch the article for which I was sent
    Bin-un-dunun - I have been and carried out my allocated task
    Cost much dida? - Are you prepared to tell me how much it cost you?
    Cain telly - Ican't/won't tell you the information you are seeking
    Diddy nawn/ Nawn diddy? - Did you know the person of whom you speak?
    Dow -ma'er- doi? - It is of no consequence
    Evvy-izza? - How much does the article which you are holding weigh?
    Gusenup Angidden - Please would you go and get it for me?
    Goynary? - Are you proposing to go?
    Hoffizer - Police Constable (there are no other haitchs in the Cornish dialect)
    Likundiddy? - Did you find the experience pleasurable?
    Nawthinwidden - You should have it/eat it unaccompanied
    Oller tuen diddy? - Did you attempt to attract the attention of the other person?
    Purty wanna? - Wasn't it beautiful?
    Piddle downdidda? - Was it raining heavily at the time?
    Wotee goyn dowidden? - What are you proposing to do with what you have acquired?

    Brilliant Windy but you forgot the most used one which is "dreckly" :D :D We,ve had a lot of experience of that one :rolleyes:

    (pronouncing all "th" hard as in the, not thumb)

    Thee cassn't do thik thay yur - please refrain from what you are doing.
    (Londoners may translate as "yer carn't do that there 'ere")
