What Do Retired People Do All Day?

Working people frequently ask retired people what they do to make their days interesting. Well, for example, the other day I went into town and went into a shop. I was only in there for about five minutes, and when I came out there was a police officer writing out a parking ticket.

I went up to him and said, "Come on man, how about giving a senior citizen a break?" He ignored me and continued writing the ticket.

I called him a pillock. He glared at me and started writing another ticket for having worn tires. So I called him something worse.

He finished the second ticket and put it on the windshield with the first. Then he started writing a third ticket.

This went on for about 20 minutes. The more I abused him, the more tickets he wrote.

Personally, I don't care. I came into town by bus.
I try to have a little fun each day now that I'm retired. It's important at my age.

I've seen this before and love it!

In reality, I'm too busy being retired to go to work. I often wondered how I did have time to go to work in the first place!

Well I belong to this Fantastic Garden Forum and
I spend a lot of time talking and reminiscing and learning all about Everything, and I have met some wonderful people.
I have to leave for a few minutes now as I can hear Mrs Owl calling she,s just finished cleaning the guttering out,I think she,s stuck up the ladder. :D [IMG]

Well the truth Is That I had given Mrs Owl written Instruction Before she Started,But with the torrential rain they got so wet she had trouble reading them.So I have had to go up to the bedroom with my laptop sit on the bed and shout the instructions through the window. :D

I've been spending far too much time on my forums! I figured I was when I found myself trying to ring someone. I had the phone in my left hand and was tapping in the number with my right hand - on the computer's numeric keypad. Another day I was trying to enter my password into the phone keypad!!

This afternoon I decided I'd been on the laptop enough so went upstairs and spent an hour sorting out My Pictures on my desk top computer!!!!
