:D :D Robert, reminds me I once witnessed to my astonishment a rich old director of another company suggested to our young attractive secretary that he was going on his yacht for the weekend and would she care to join him.........she ran a mile!!!

Mind you, as I said, she was young, so the reaction might be different on here? :D :D

 

dag we are not oldies quite young at heart, anyway he must of been a dirty ole man :D :D

 

But the yacht was in dry dock at the time. :D :D :D

dont worry LoL just dags sense of humour, not suprised she ran a mile, can you imajine a horrid ugly looking director as most of them are and even i would run a mile :D :D They might have the dosh but that about all they have got well most of them.

 

:D Sorry LOL, I know you are still young, cough, cough! Your wrong rosa about his appearance he was a fine looking upright fit gentleman and always had a carnation in his button hole, I think if I had been her, I would have accepted! :D

I love carnations, my favourite flower (along with freesias), but that might have put me off ... even when I'm as young as I am now! Would make you think he's going to a wedding! :D

oh well cant win em all, got that impression with her been very young maybe she didnt want a more mature guy, someone her own age suppose not everyone is impressed by material things.

 

LOL, can't remember if he was married, don't think he was, but that was in 1969, so forgive me. God, I am older now than he was then!!! Anyway, what excuse would he have given to his wife in the circumstances? ha ha!

 

We know quite a few people, the last two lots of visitors here for example, who are yatchsfolk, and they don't necessarily sail at the same time, if you know what I mean?

Well, I was already married in 1969 ... :eek: ... so assume everybody else was! :D :D I was a child bride, married at birth ... old traditions and all that .... :rolleyes:
