Beetroot,how do you like yours?

Hi Marley,

Inspired by this thread so going to roast whole beetroot in foil for about an hour or so till tender. Intend to peel slice and dress with some french dressing and chopped flat leaf parsley while warm sprinkle with some crumbled feta. Hope it works as I love the combination of sweet and salty !

Hi Marley,

We loved it ! My husbands opinion was 'most jolly excellent'. made a great light lunch with some crusty bread. Think the thought came from a recipe in Nigella Lawson's book How to Eat for Greek Lamb Stew which is served with drumbled feta and oregano which we love. Anyway, have now unchained myself from the cooker and back to the garden to pick a few runner beans and water/feed the pots of brugmansias.
