They look too nice to be weeds but i have no idea what they are. They are all coming up in the black pots that have just been left all year.

Sorry i can't get any closer shots of them, still working out camera!

happens to me all the time Borrowers. I have a litre, pop some plants in, don't label and when they appear the following year can't remember anything about them. :D Seriously they don't look like any weed I know. Just grow them and see. And if the drugs squad comes knocking on your door deny all knowledge. [IMG]

:D I think we all do this from time to time borrowers... They do look rather like a bulb type plant pushing through...Grow them on so we can all see what your mystery plants are...! :D The other thing of course is weeds do not self seed themselves in such perfect planting positions... Definitely something you have planted I think too borrowers.... ;) :D

    Thanks all
    Sarraceniac, could have been [IMG]

No really, i know i haven't planted bluebells definately no bulbs.

Unless [IMG] do they start as corm like seeds? I found some in an envelope last year & stuck them in but thought they were something else. Don't remember putting them in all the pots though

Never mind I'll just let them carry on & see what happens.

    Cheers

My bluebells are in full leaf and with flower spikes and buds, so I dont think they are bluebells.

But they do look like some kind of bulb/corm.

We've got a lot of the same looking leaves coming up and I think they are grape hyacinth at a guess. We have masses coming up everywhere.

As i said Johnny, i didn't plant any bulbs out so they must have been put there by birds. I didn't realise until i got some snowdrops and asked on here how i got them, that 'bulb' plants also get seeded by birds ect.

Can you put any photo's of them on here?

    cheers

    Hi YDD,
so thats 2 for bluebells, 1 against bluebells and 2 for grape hyacinth. I can't wait.

Thanks for noticing little Joyce i'm so proud of doing that, i even cropped the pic first then reduced it cos it came out too big first time. [IMG]

I didn't think anyone noticed :( [IMG] Actually i was trying to get it in my avatar or atavar as i keep calling it :D . Never mind i have achieved two technical things on here today
,although not exactly as i wanted.

    cheers
