"youngdaisydee", hello to you too! I did realise one was a rose - obviously(!) - but not what type/spp.

Also, my mother seemed to think one was some sort of iris and/or lill(y/ie), so bravo to you Bob! As you say, I think it is best I leave it till the morn... I'm quite happy to wait, but I'm also kinda worried that my thread(s)/post(s) will be missed when the dawn rises!

Thanks to the both of you. It feels a tad odd to be talking about flowers at this time of night! I haven't even touched 'that' type of plant, ever... [IMG]

P.S. Bob, I dunno how the florist I'm thinking of going to would react to myself walking in there shop, asking if it is possible for them to identify the floral arrangement which features on my partner's lingerie! (It is as a romantic gesture, I promise.) Really though, I doubt I should go thus far. However, they have probably had to handle more bizarre requests! Night all, M

OK, I've slept on it now - and see that no-one has added to this! Disappointed.

However, it isn't all bad. Another of my sources has come up with a few options, but only a few! She explained that the roase would probably be a "peach rose"; the other main orange flower is apparently a "peach/orange gerbera (daisy flower)"; but then a problem still lies... The blue and pink flowers are "a bit more difficult". She said that the pink flower looks like a "flag iris", which is "more of a garden flower, but is not available in pink"(!); and then with the blue flowers, you "don't get that colour blue in flowers - it is usually electric blue or purple" usually, she advised.

Can anybody back up these claims, or expand any further...? I'd be very grateful for your help! Thanks for your time, M

    [IMG] Hi MCT,
    1. well the pink Iris could be one called "Vanity".
    3. The orange flower could be a dahlia..
    5. The peach coloured rose could be "Just Joey" or Remeber me, but there are so many different kinds in that colour.
6.This blue one is anenome type I think..
And I think your last flower is an iris again...

    Hope this will help.... [IMG]

[IMG] To be honest I think I might take the garment with me to the florists.. You would be amazed what people take in for them to make floral arrangements from..!!!! :D

    Cheers for that Marley!

I think I would get a few funny looks though, surely?! Either way, I've now got my local florist on the case... I'll more than likely give them a ring now, to see what they think about the spp. I've been advised about so far.

A quick search on Google in images does well to confirm all this advise, so far! I realise this is a tricky one.

    Help is appreciated! Thanks, M
