Hi. I bought a reduced plant today at the garden centre and between leaving there and getting home I forgot what it was called although I know it began with an S!
It's got light green variegated leaves and is small and shrubby looking with quite large orange berries all over it. The branches are more trailing than upright and it was in the winter colour section
Any ideas anyone? it's so annoying because it's name is on the tip of my tongue but for the life of me I can't recall it!!!!

My batteries are flat so can't take a piccie I'm afraid. it's a very common winter plant so I'm sure someone will come along soon who knows exactly what I mean!

Sounds almost like a variegated pyracantha or firethorn but that doesn't start with 's'.

I wasn't sure afterwards as you said it had light green leaves as solanum usually are mid to dark green but a variegated one might be lighter green. I have not seen one so I am not really familiar this particular type. I am not sure if they are as winter hardy as the green one. [IMG]
