I know this plant but I am blowed if I can remember it`s name. Any helpers? David.

No, the flowers aren`t big enough Pete. It first appeared last year in a clients veg plot, I thought I`d got it all out so it must have self-seeded. I quite like it. David.

 

Is that a seed pod in the centre of the pic?
A close up of that would be good.

I agree with Pete - Nicandra. I grew this many years ago and it still pops up in odd places as a self seeder.

 

That could be a possibility, though I`m not 100% convinced I`ve not seen any fruit on it. What looks like a seed pod is actually the flower bud. David.
