    To my knowledge No 7 hasn't flowered like that but it could be because it was reduced to almost ground level.

    I will take some close up photo's of the leaves and stems tomorrow if that helps?

    I'm currently surrounded by half a florist as I received two bouquets today, was surprised to see a cabbage in amongst them! Least I think it's a cabbage, suits the bouquet nicely though!

    Could it be one of the many (50) varieties of dogwood which are well known for the red colour of their bare branches/twigs in winter but are not very interesting foliage-wise?
