Silver tree

Has anybody any idea what this silver tree is? It blew to 45 degs in the storms and couldn't be kept up so its ben chopped down now.

No you are all wrong....it's the lesser spotted glove tree. Can't you see the gloves in full bloom hanging from it?!!!! Very rare!

Cheers, i hadn't noticed those gloves :D Must have been one i'd left out and got soaked in the rain.
