Lovely looking plant?

    Could anyone please tell me what this shrub is,it was in my garden when i moved here .To be honest i have never done much to it but it seems to be doing well .
    If anyone knows what this is ,what kind of care does it need?I think it needs pruning soon.

    It's a weigela. You can prune them back hard once the flowers have finished or just give a gentle cut to reshape it. It flowers on this years growth so if you want flowers next year do it as soon as possible. They are very easy to take cuttings from if you want freebie plants.
