Anyone know what this is popping up all over my garden? We only moved in last year so are still getting surprises popping up all over the place!

Could this be another variety of my Exotic Weed? Aron family. I just saw one in BM's April garden and replied.

that does look like it and it sounds rather lethal!!! As I have both children and animals I think I'd better dispose of it sharpish!! Shame as I quite liked it too!
Anyone know what the 2nd one is?

The first is definitely Arum maculatum, which is rather invasive too. the second looks like on of the sedges. Are the leaves and stems 3 cornered?

Most Sedges have triangular shaped stems that are solid. There are some species that are wonderful for the garden. That first plant looks attractive and we have a variation of it. I didn't know it was poisonous, lucky I have had any problems with it but now that I think of it nothing bothers it (deer and such).
