I'll come back to you all when I see some roots! [IMG]

My friend who owns a garden centre is coming here tomorrow so I'll see if he can make a positive ID.

Evening, walnut, you do wear me out watching you ...

My garden centre friend confirmed today that it is a red Cestrum.

Are you interest in this if I can get them rooted?

Windy, walnut and dendro. I gave up with my four cuttings in water so have potted them ... and they haven't died yet ... watch this space ...

If all else fails, I'll have to go back to the shrub in the hills ... mas n£o faz mal! I'd be delighted.

You three will be delighted to hear that I stumbled across and purchased this very shrub myself a few days ago! [IMG]

So, if all else fails, I don't have to rush up into the hills to steal more cuttings ... although that would be great fun! :D

I think I see a teentsy bit of new growth on the cuttings now they are in a pot!

walnut and windy ... can you PM me your details, please ... we may be in a position to post within the next week!

Also, walnut, the one I bought is completely different looking from the cuttings I "appropriated"! If you look, the ones I had the pleasure to stick to my fingers, the leaves are thin and pale green.

The one I recently bought has fatter, dark green leaves and darker coloured flower tubes, listed in my book as the newellii.

If this is the case, what is the one from up in the hills?

As you know, windy, I'm making a list.

Dendro, it will be a challenge for you up north, but then, I'm sure you're up to the challenge!

I a amazed you've got the Canna going .. I've had none of mine germinate but then I wouldn't bother here .... four foot tall one blooming costs £5 here ... I can't be bothered with the seeds.

I'll pop some Canna seeds in you pack, windy! [IMG]

Like I said, 2 are nice little seedlings, one is all green, and the other is reddish! Quite different! Must take a photo and let you see how your off-spring are doing in Scotland, LoL!!
