:yho:I tell you. Its amazing how much you learn by accident. Since last October, I have been working a lot of the time over in my workshop. And to save time I have been "spending a penny" around the back on the grass. (I live in an isolated spot anywhay, so nobody can see me!)

The grass in this region is no tgood at all, but a few months back I noticed this beautiful dark green lush grass where I have been "watering the lawn!"

It stoood out a mile. Then it dawned on me why it is so differnet than everywhere else, including the large lawn we have on the garden. It was due to the urea!

Anyway, I now pee in a pot and save the lot and have been spreading it over the weak areas of grass on the lawn- diluted of course. What a difference.

After making this discovery I researched urea on th ent and found out loads on the benefits for gardeners- well lawns especially!:D

I cant wait for the barbeque. Will get the lads to pee in the pot as well- will have the best lawns in Cornwall:D. Women- keep away, its only boys have the good stuff apparently!

Theres less demand on our septic tank now thanks to "urea!"

Give it a go if you are struggling to grow your lawns:thmb:

For centuries it has been the practice to pee on the compost heap (not usually recommended in overlooked suburban gardens :hehe:). This helps activate the compost.

It's a great 'relief' :hehe: not to have to waste time going indoors (my garden is pretty large and not overlooked :thmb:).

I wish the dog wee had the same effect...

My lawn looks like a patchwork quilt I'm afraid. My bitches run free range all day and instead of peeing on the half acre of gravel they have, they prefer to pee on my lush (haha) lawned area...

I tried "Get Off" but that just makes them "Get On" more, My Stud isn't much better he will pee everywhere too...

Any threads covering this phenomenon (link please?)

Just had a google image search on the subject. Not as weird as one might have expected.

Have you tried taking them over to the gravelled area and rubbing their hind paws in the gravel? They should get the message fairly quickly.
