Hello again Lolli and thank you again. We have a friend who lives in Mevagissy on the harbour and this brings back many memories of years past. A lovely part of England.

The pleasure is all mine Victoria. It has nearly broken my heart to leave. And even though I love the North of England with all my heart I know I will be going back there again.

Lolli, I was wondering when someone's holiday pics were going to appear as hardly any have been posted so far.
You must have had a great time, I haven't been to Polperro for a number of years but we will go bakc there, it is such a beautiful part of the country (and county).:)

Well, strongy, I would post mine .. but I go to the same place in Portugal every year and it would get sort of boring of castles and where the dolphins breed ... :hehe:

We may go up North in the Autumn to see the leaves changing, so, maybe ......

PS Oh, and have been invited to Madeira for Christmas/New Year by a certain someone on UKEG ...

Lucky you Karl. I must say we are giving due consideration to the possibility of a change of location. Too tempting to not give it some serious thought. Spent a few days roaming round St Austell-it's all a bit gorgeous down there isn't it :D.

I had a wonderful break there, one that was very very much needed.

Yeh is a nice place, does take a lot of getting used to though as its a much slower pace and things are spread out more.
You miss the simple things like Greenhalgh's pies but a bonus is that Warburtons bread is down here now, that's only been available over the past year or so lol
They make nice pastes but the pies are cack, even cheese pies have potato as the main filler

Yes. I remember it well from a holiday visit about 6 years ago with my husband, it does not seem to have changed at all, thanks for the memory lollipop.
