I bought myself a hanging strawberry plant a few months back and im not sure if ive killed it, it was in bloom when i got it but now it looks like this

and theres quite a few leaves turning brown like this

but it seems like one side is worse than the other somehow, i think ive had about 3 berrys off it in 2 months. ive watered it twice daily most the time and ive used a tomato feed as it says on the card, the only thing i can think is ive watered it too much as i tend to water it so the soil is covered and the water drips over. Im very much a newbie to gardening so im not sure what the problem is with it?

    .

In my experience strawberries need a tremendous amount of water to perform properly, which I doubt you will be a ble to achieve in a hanging basket!

If they dry out once, they have had it for fruiting.

Here in Gloucester we have had the first really heavy rain today for about 2 months or so, and my rows of straws have been almost like that, even with lots of water applied to the soil!

They should pick up now, fingers crossed!

As well as lack of water it could also be vine wevil in the pot. Last year both of my strawberry pots went rather like yours and when I cleared out the dead plants I discovered lots of nasty wevils - over 40 in one pot.

I had plants like that earlier this year. I went away for a week when we had that REALLY hot spell. They never survived.
I've recently bought 20 new plants.
I am just wondering, what sort of care over the Autumn/Winter is there for strawberry plants?

    I don't have a greenhouse.
I have them in patio pots.
I have 10 in the ground.
I am wondering, should I bring the pots into my garage when the weather starts getting frosty?
Also, what should I do with the 10 plants in the ground?

I put one strawberry plant in the ground last summer. This year it has gone bonkers, throwing runners out, new plants popping up everywhere and loads of fruit. My point is - it was happily sat outside in all the snow and -16 frosts last winter, so I suspect yours will survive as mine did. Different story for my raspberry bush though

Judging from my strawberry plants, which dry, like, twice a week, I assume that they need a lot of water.
