Sorry, I don't know anything about Epsons but I presume you have checked that the coloured inks haven't run out. [IMG]

I have the same printer Lyn-have you tried cleaning the heads? If you look up in your epson software under reference, problem solver, print quality problems, it will give you a list of things to try. If you havent got this ref guide, pm me and I will copy it off and email it to you. [IMG]

    I don't think it's the printer it's self .
    Just noticed.
The print preview is black and white.
It mustbe the info being sent from the computer to the printer thats the problem.
I might just try to remove the printer and re install.

I'm back to printing in colour.
Not sure what was wrong and how I got it back [IMG]

    Different problem now.
I have scanned in a photo but it won't print.
The preveiw just comes up blank
I've had a look through the problem solver but can't see anything to help.

First thing to try Lyn is printing another image, preferably one you've printed before. You could also try printing a document. If either of the afore mentioned works then there is a problem with the image you scanned. If they don't print properly then my money would be on a communications problem between PC and printer.
One thing to try is wiggle the plugs at each end of the printer cable.
The fact that colour printing returned tends to point more to a hardware fault than a software fault.
BTW - I've had two Epsons and when they were good they were very very good, but when they were bad they were horrid  Now got a Cannon and in two and a half years have had no problems at all (touch wood)

I think it's the scanned photo.
Everything else is printing fine now.
I emailed it to my daughter to try and print it and she couldn't even open and download the email .

I'll have to get the photo back and try again.
    Thanks for your help.

[IMG] Lyn is the photo that won't print taken by a professional photographer?? I have some of my daughter that won't print because of that. Yes it is a professional one.
Thanks for the tip I'll have a go at that.
Although i'm not that good at close up photos with my new camera.
I can't seem to get it right, out of about 10 photos I might get 2 good ones.
Might have to go back to the old camera.
