Have just started using a Labtec wireless optical mouse that I was given Christmas 2005! - I always take a time to think about using something new
It is ok except that when using it the cursor suddenly shoots across the page right off the screen sometimes. Is there any way to correct this?

Ermmm - what's that? Didn't know I could do that but I will investigate.
Thanks BM but I might have to come back and ask more questions [IMG]

All set up now - thanks BM, and even cured it from shooting off the screen by changing the mouse mat, which was red with white splash pattern on it, to a plain black one!

 I know they can take a while to figure out. And sometimes they have some 'quirks', I hope it works ok now. [IMG]

Only thing I didn't like about wireless rodents and keyboards is they go through batteries like no tomorrow. No damned off switch so to conserve battery life you have to keep taking them out.

Because of hand problems (arthritis) my GF has a trackball - now that is sweet to use ;)

It said in the blurb with the mouse that batteries would last about 3 months!
    Not true then Frogesque?

Mine have lasted nearly 2 years, since I have had this computer, maybe I'm lucky. [IMG]

I have a battery free wireless mouse. It has its own mouse pad and that gets plugged into the pc. It's great. The mouse is beautifully egonomic to hold and never fails. Highly recommended.
