Translating a web page

    Help, Dear all computer wizz's

    Is there a way to translate a web page to english from another langauge if the option is not given on the web site.

    Alturnatively I could spend months study the said language.

    If you need a hand with French or German, drop me a line. If anything else, forget it!! Any on-line translation gives you gibberish - believe me!!

    Hi, Percy, I can do Portuguese / perhaps Spanish / Italian.

    I wouldn't venture into the world of babelfish or prompt ... you wouldn't believe what comes out of it when you actually know a little! :eek: :eek:

    did try babelfish translation seems to be very literal.

    I was just trying to research social and welfare for alzhemier suffers.
