Fly Poo!

Is it just me here, or does anyone elsewhere have a problem with fly poo on their screens on a regular basis? :rolleyes: They particularly like the top right-hand corner of my screen where the icons are ... :D

 

I find the icky splat they make when I whack 'em is more of a problem :D

 

might i suggest you bring the t.v. in from the garden :D :D :D

I think LoL that the answer is no. As it is not so hot here, there are very few flies in the house. A bigger problem is a dirty keyboard, but not from flies.

If you have a floral screensaver, they may be trying to fertilise it. :D

I can imagine the flies to be attracted by the brightness of the screen and the heat which it generates, but there must be really a lot of them for their poo to be a problem.
Have you got some kind of screening to prevent them coming in?

 

Just be thankful that pigs don't fly LoL

You could try moving the icons from the top of the screen to the bottom. Gravity being what it is the poo will then gather in a nice pile at the bottom edge.

Never had that problem in the UK but I suspect our flies have better toilet habits. :D

Thank you for all your input, but I must admit my doors and windows have been open every day ...
even when it rained earlier in the week so perhaps they were escaping being drowned!

Thank you in particular for your advice, Dave, but the wild boars don't come into the orchards for some reason ... possibly they don't like the big snakes in there !!!! :eek: :eek:

PS PeterS, I do have flowers and cats on my screen saver, so ..... ?????

 

Perhaps your flies are misunderstanding the meaning of the phrase "screen dump" :D
