Some photo editing software has the red eye function and you can do it with that. I have Photoshop and do it with the clone function ie, take a colour from another part of the eye and put it where the red is - there are many more experienced folk on here than me who will probably explain it better!! ;)

Try Paint Shop Pro - I can do anything on there with photos that I take - including getting rid of red eye.
    Good luck. [IMG]

If you Google 'Red eye removal tool' there are lots of FREE software solutions offered. Picass is the only one I have tried for other things, it is good at them. I rarely take photos of people so never had this problem myself.

I think most, even the more basic photo editing programmes have red eye removal.
Usually the software that comes with the camera has basic editing, including red eye, I think, mine did anyway. [IMG]

I have Photoshop Elements 2 that came with the camera and red eye correction is one of the few things I use it for. I blow the photo up to 500% and use a narrow tool to do the colour change. It's very precise and the nice thing about it is you can match the subject's eye colour rather than a just a default blue.

Make sure you save the original undoctored image and only work on a copy. That way if you get it wrong you can start again.

I don't like Microsoft, but have to admit that they've done a good job with Digital Image suite 10, good value for money. It includes many features that are not available in software supplied with equipment (which is usually a cut down version to get you to pay for the full version). Arcsoft Photobase 4 is also good.
