    Go to www.Mozilla.com

Download Mozilla Thunderbird for replacing your Microsoft Outlook Express, and download Mozilla Firefox to replace the programme that you are using now.

You will then be able to set GC and ImageShack or Photobucket and Disney smilies, Google and anything else up all in tags on the same page and can flick from one to the other. Matter of choice but I like it!

It is all totally free, unlimited and independent of Microsoft! ;)

Might be best to talk someone into installing it for you.

Although I am using Tiscali Broadband, I never need to log on as I am not using their storage facility to store my email so you don't get the sort of problems that you have!

    Hope that helps. ;)

No you don't have to log in with any broadband its that Tiscali, and no doubt some others also provide their own email client which you do have to log into if you want to use it. After you have used up your alloted memory you have to purchase some more space!

It does mean of course that you don't use your own computer memory for emails, but you keep getting time out problems as a result as its not keeping anything on your computer regarding email only.

But as I said you don't have to use it!

No I agree it's not worth it for a few weeks, but if you were going to stick with Tiscali, then you could get over your problems I think.

Pete, I have been told if members don't log out then it is possible for
Trolls to get access to the board using your open line

True or not? perhaps Nathan or MDaisy will tell us.

p.s. or is that just when on dial-up?

I don't think that is possible - and our late trolls registered in the normal way as far as I know. Me I never log out - and as far as I am aware, would only be a problem if someone else were to use my pc.

The need for logging out to prevent unauthorised access is for mods and admins, jjordie! And then the problem is hackers - they're the ones whose aim is to mess up the board. And trolls want to be seen, hackers don't!

I have been a victim of id theft before, because i never logged out of everything now i do cos i dont want it happening again, but you would think on a site like this nothing would happen cos you are not leaving any bank details or other such things they would not bother but there again why do they want to, that is my question why   [IMG] [IMG]
