    [IMG] Hi again,
Wise words there I think Dave.. Rosa, why not just give Dell a ring tell them what you want it for & they can recomend what one they think of their range would be suitable for you... You don't have to buy it, you can think about what they say, but as I said before, they are very helpful, they do not give you a hard sales pitch either. It is up to you...!! When you have talked to them have a look around at what is on offer locally with the same specification.....!!! ;) Hope that helps you... [IMG]

Certainly not upset with anyone, never thought that john was not technical enough for me, He showed me some excellent lap-tops, I would definately of chosen one of those expensive ones iff i had seen them year and a half ago, before i had bought this pc.
John i asked for your advise about the one i am buying and i was pleased with your response just then, My answer, I was hoping for a positive response from you pc medic, was not at all negative but i can see how it was taken in a negative form. Please do not think that i am upset with you, definately not. Pleased with everyones input, especially yours pc medic, you have given me some great advice since you offered your services to Gc.

your welcome Rosa.......hope you enjoy your laptop........just a little bit of advice....as soon as you get the laptop...go to a computer shop and get the memory upgraded to 512 mb....

this will help the pc when you multi task programs and run memory hungry software. ;)

Hi, Rosa! I was joking with you about John's response to what you are buying because I thought it was very technical ... ole technophobe me! :D :D

You haven't answered my question about your proposed move to Wales? What will happen to your lovely balcony pots and plants?

Glad you said that about the 256mb being upgraded, John. It's a too bit low a RAM to run XP on it, isn't it? I have to have both my main PC and my (Acer) laptop upgraded on that account.

BTW - I was informed by a teacher that all their PCs and laptops at their college are Acer. That should be a pretty good recommendation, shouldn't it?
