Try phoning your ISP technical support line. I've had my incoming/outgoing addies changed so much I should know them by heart but I don't. I usually find them very helpful. If you're dial-up, ring them on your mobile so you can be on-line at the time.

It cost a fortune to phone tiscali my friend did that and on her phone bill she got a shock as it was £30 just to call them so i shudder to think how much it will cost on a mobile.

open up outlook and and click on tools at top of outlook.....go down to accounts and click on email accounts...here you will find the account/s that you have, make sure that you click on veiw/change email accounts....in here you will see your email account. Just delete the letter "c" and click ok. Done

checked the other c has gone now i dont know whether or not to just use my tiscali or microsoft outlook, have little niggles with tiscali when i am in the middle of an e-mail go to send it and it tells me my session has ended and logs me off, then i have to log back in go to drafts folder, modify, then send would there be any reason for this to keep happening its very annoying. Also at times when i go to log into tiscali at times cant log in and tells me i am using the wrong password which i know for a fact i am putting the correct password in.

lol. sounds a little confusing, can understand why its winding you up.

stick with outlook, if its working ok.

sounds like there are a few settings that need to be changed...may be a good idea to ring tiscali and get them to take you through there email settings to sort out them problem.

rosa, I had that trouble with the session that has ended (on tiscali), very annoying, its because all the data is kept on their website and although its free you will soon fill it up and then they will want more money for more space.

Answer: install Mozilla Thunderbird (and firefox) or you could weeken and go back to Microsoft Outlook :(

that explains why for the first year broadband is only £14.99 per month sometimes i wish i had stayed with bt as i had none of this carry-on.
When i was in the process of changing over bt said they would reduce mine to £20 per month wish now i had taken them up on that offer.
Iff tiscali do this after the year is up i will definately go back with bt.
Not too keen on microsoft its pretty basic

rosa, stay with tiscali, just install Mozilla, better than Outlook Express and easy to install. Just don't use the tiscali mail programme. IMHO

P.S. That price is not just for the first year of broadband. ;)

    http://www.mozilla.com

Download Firefox for a browser that has tabs for multiple websites, handy for posting pics to GC.

Download Thunderbird to replace Outlook Express

    No more Microsoft ;) ;)
