click on "image" Tag when you go into add new post........

a popup will appear saying: Enter the complete URL.....................etc

then you will see in the box below it "http://"

i will put a pic up to help you.......so i will enter my web home pic http://www.pc-medic.net/shop/images/Image1.jpg

    which will appear as........

if you right click on my pic and go down to properties you will see the address that the pic is at.......... if you wish to upload a pic or have a pic on the website...you either need a website that will upload a pic for you (www.tinypic.com) or if you have your own website then you can link them from there.

    hope this helps.

Are there any simple instructions to transfer audio tape (music) to CD?

I have tried Windows Media Player with line-in, and also Audacity.
Is it me not understandng the instructions?

    Any advice please.

There's also a section called "How to..." which is full of such instructions, Chobart. The ones for posting a picture on on here and are very detailed, step by step 'how to's'!!

jjordie, you need a programme like Audio Cleaning Lab, which is what I use. Have transferred about 800 listening tapes to CD so far, can also do records with it if you have a player. ;)

P.S. very handy for recording stuff borrowed from the library! [IMG]

Thanks Dag. I used to be able to do cassette to disc with Windows Media Player and then it was updated ad just doesn't seem to work anymore.

AND I think I still have pc problems - my Computer man is coming again tomorrow and has advised the best thing for this ongoing problem - whatever it is - would be to clear eveything and re-boot it!

Well, pc has been re-booted and found that it was Roxio Media Creator Suite that was messing up my Outlook Express. Since it's been removed I haven't had any problems in that area. Has anybody else had this problem with Roxio?

I have also found that the reason I can't download 30 mins of music to an 80 min disc is that it's in the wrong format, (therefore 1411 Kbps is too much) and the format needs to be changed.

Another question please. I have Microsoft Works 7.0 on my pc but would like to install Star Office 5.2, (XP41 it says on the disc).
Do I have to un-install Works before putting Office on, or are they compatible? I don't want to mess things up again after the trouble I've had getting things straight as it's taking me time to re-install all my programmes and bits and pieces.

John (PCMedic) would be very pleased if you can advise on any of the above.

Thanks John for a quick reply [IMG]

Full re-install - back to 'factory condition' I think.

Windows XP and SP2 - would that be correct? if not I'll look up the paperwork.
