    Hi ,Can anyone advise me If its possible to
    Recycle some of these logs which came from my favourite Tree which was blown over by the wind.
    Would it be possible in someway to convert these into nest boxs

    Well it woud be difficult. Nestboxes need to be hollow and you need a door or removable panel so that you can clean them out after use. Best bet would be to stack them in a quiet corner of your garden and then all sorts of mini-beasts will make their homes in your log pile. They in turn will be eaten by visiting birds.

    Woo I have made them out of logs take a slice about 3/4 " thick to use as a lid so you can clean it out then hollow it out from the top as in marges link picture it is hard scooping out the green wood but they look good when finished
