Perhaps one day CL it will be warm enough for them to visit the UK instead of having to go abroad to see them. [IMG]

Love them, t'other Lady. I'm happy to have them here, along with my geckos and lizards and spiders and mice ... but no so keen on the rats.

strongy, t'other half wants to know if you are an Elephant Hawkmoth Caterpillar ... the thing I had up for ID but don't think you responded to. I say no because "ours" didn't have legs. [IMG]

Gosh, nobody's visited here for a while!

All summer I got just one Scarce Swallowtail, missed the Clouded Yellows which are so vibrant, but this morning I managed to catch a couple of flutterbys ... I finally captured a Monarch (I believe as it's not in my Med book) and a Large White (Pieris brassicae) I think ... both were in one photo I took but it came out blurry. :(

    Thanks pip and roders.

Took me a while and about 20 photos to get these ... but guess that's what it's all about. [IMG]

I thought they would be all over the Lantana next door but no ... the Poinsettia seems to be "the" place to be at the moment. [IMG]

I'm really chuffed with these as I'm not good on this type of photography.

PS I'm not even using all my new camera attachments as it's all a bit daunting to me.
