my harvst of spuds

    can anyone tell me if there is a problem with these spuds or if this normal, only have about 3 like it, from all that i lifted.

    I don't know anything to help you out with the second pic - but your harvest looks great. I bet you're really pleased. :gnthb:

    Hi K9, it looks like potato scab, which only affects the skin so the spuds should be ok to use. I think it's something to do with too much lime in the soil(?). If it gets to be a problem in future years, there are some resistant varieties available.

    Charleys right, only potato scab, just peel em & enjoy, nice harvest.

    thank you all,
    yes i was pleased,
    i use pots so will prob have different compost each year and from next year hopefully all home made as what have composted so far this year is looking good.
