    Hi there.
Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm new to the forums and also to gardening in general. I've been lurking on the boards for a week or so and finally registered a couple of days ago as everyone seems so friendly and helpful.
My garden is definitely a project. When we moved into our house neither the back nor front gardens had been touched for at least 13 years, other than some mowing. I'm really looking forward to getting the garden sorted out, and then being able to maintain it and enjoy it. I'll stick a picture of the garden up when I can locate one on this computer.
Hope to get to know you all over the coming months...

Hi Ducastaing. Welcome to GC. We are pretty friendly and a sense of humour helps with a lot of us. Some of them even know what they are doing.

Hi Ducastaing,I've been living in my present abode for 13 years and still havn't sorted the garden out! So take your time, get a feeling for the place before you do anything too radical. The biggest change I made to my garden was to remove an area of lawn to make a veg patch and it gets a bit bigger each year. Hope you enjoy the forum [IMG]

    [IMG]Ducastaing to the forum.

We had the same problem as yourself when we moved 2 years ago the only thing that had been done was that the bumpy grass was cut and hedges trimmed but we are getting there as I'm sure you yourself will do.

May you have plenty of fun and giggles along the way as both Bob and I have had while messing around in our own plot.Hel.xxx.
