    Hi All,

I finally got a garden after years of living in a flat in London - so joining a forum seems like a good idea as I really havn't got a clue!

    Welcome, jesaya!

Another one of us from South Wales, albeit that you may just be living there and not from there whereas I am from there and not living there, if you know what I mean?

Some of us don't have a clue either but that doesn't stop us.

    Enjoy!

Hi Lady of Leisure - thanks for the welcome [IMG]

No I am not from here, but my partner is. You are in Portugal... I bet it isn't chucking it down there!

There doesn't seem much to do at the moment, as the people who sold us the house did so much for us before they went - even planting up all the tubs with bulbs. So I am currrently wandering about, clearing a few leaves, and trying to work out what all the plants are!

    Hello again, jesaya.

No, it's not chucking it down. We had some horrendous storms (but it is or should be our rain season) last week but since then it's been sunny and warm. [IMG]

We have an ID section which you may wish to use as and when you post pictures. I often use iiit as we have quite a few Med people on GC who know more about my plants than I do, although I am getting better.

On one hand, it's nice to have a ready-made garden but on the other it's nice to put your hallmark on it.

Anyway, I whitter ... enjoy your garden ... even if you're looking at it from the inside out. [IMG]

I'll check out the ID thing - there are already a couple of plants I can't identify [IMG]

Thank you David for pointing that out ... hrrrmmmm!

I now notice my mouse is doing triple letters I haven't caught again (I spend as much time backspacing as I do typing forwards) ... and neither has the mouse before you say anything! T'other half, a computer expert, cannot figure it out. [IMG]

Hi Jesaya welcome to our friendly forum.

I must warn you some of us on here are quite mad you know and just like a computer virus it catches you when you are most unaware!

I'm sure you will pick up gardening as you go along and we all are more than willing to help you out just so long as we don't have to come along and do the job for you, that is unless that's a little drink or two in the offering then get ready for a stampede! :D
