    Good afternoon - Happy Gardeners.

New to the forum and just popping in to say 'hola'

I am British but have lived and gardened in Spain for 7 years - its been hard adjusting to gardening in a hot country and learning what will and wont work [IMG] but I'm getting there.

I'm a have-a-go sort of gardener and just love to have some green things around me, along with my four cat :D

Well thats it for now, great to be here, off to check some of the forums out [IMG]

Welcome to our friendly forum CactusLady.

Please share with us your gardening experience I'm sure most of us here in chilly England will be green with envy with what you are able to grow in Spain...I know I am for one!

Ola outra vez, CactusLady. I did speak to you in Garden Lights but I'll welcome you formally in your Introduction.

It's nice to have another Med person on board (although I am not truly Med). There are a few expats in Spain on the forum but haven't seen them lately. [IMG]

Hopefully we can exchange info and tips (assuming you are on the Med and not up North).

    Enjoy!

    Evening t'other Lady.

I'm about 20 minutes from the sea also but I'm not arid. We have a friend who has many properties near Nerja and inland somewhat and they/she (he died last year) were shocked the difference of our climate/landscape, ie, how green we are here in Algarve compared to southern Spain.

I posted some pics today in my Algarve Garden of us in the rain today ... the first real rain we've had all year and almost more than we had last winter.

rosa thought about coming here but has settled on Spain ... so maybe we can both help her out. [IMG]
