So sad to hear this Gogs ... he's gone up to Rainbow Bridge with all our other beloved babies. What a good age for him. I'm sure he will be deeply missed always. RIP Jake. xx

So sorry to hear about you loosing your beautiful Jake, Gogs. My thoughts are with you, and although it is difficult when a beloved pet's time is up, it is comforting to know that he left without pain after a long and good life with you.

I see that Woo has posted the wonderful poem of The Rainbow Bridge. It brings tears but they are comforting ones. I read it for my cats every now and then, but also every time a friend's pet crosses the Bridge and I have just read it for you and Jake. xx

Hi Gogs.... :luv: He was so wonderful & to get to that age is fantastic..! I know you must still be hurting & missing him..! He left you so peacefully, so he knew how loved he was... Yes I too feel he is at the Rainbow Bridge now, with all our other pets.. I am sure you & Charlie are still missing terribly, but time will pass & it does help... Thinking of you Gogs.. :thumb:

How strange it must be feeling at the moment. He looked a lovely boy, and 19 is a fantastic age. My thoughts are with you.

Sad time for you Gogs, i guess there's a big dog-shaped hole in your home and your heart at the moment.

I came across this a few days ago-

"It occurs to me that every time I lose a dog, he takes a piece of my heart with him. Then every new dog who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of his heart. Therefore, if I should live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will then become as generous and loving as dogs are!"
